It is administered through drinking water at the following dosage rate :-• For treatment: 1 ml per 1-2 litre of drinking water or 20 mg/kg body weight for 3-5 days.• For Prevention: 1 ml per 2-4 litre of drinking water or 10 mg/kg body weight for 3-5 days.Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian.
It is effective against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria, Mycoplasma and anaerobic organisms. Its wide spectrum of activity includes the pathogenic organisms like E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Mycoplasma spp., Clostridium perfringes and Camphylobacter. • 1.25 – 2.5 g per 50 kg bodyweight twice daily, during 3 – 5 days.
• Effective against primary and secondary bacterial infections caused by bacteria which are susceptible to trimethoprim and sulphadiazine like respiratory infections, intestinal infections, urogenital infections, skin infections and coccidiosis in pigs, lambs, kids, calves and poultry.
