Cantinea is used to treat a variety of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, infection of scalp, athlete’s foot and and jock itch and other fungal infections.
This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor) a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest forelegs or Hind legs.
Dust the affected parts of the animal’s body against the direction of hair.
Stroke the fur to rub the powder gently up to the skin.
Do not dust into eyes or nose.
In the event of heavy infestation, the treatments may be repeated once or twice per week for an extended period.
