Cight Eye Ointment
Cyclosporine 2 mg / gm

What Is Cight Eye Ointment ?
Cight Eye is an ophthalmic ointment , indicated for management of chronic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) and chronic superficial keratitis (CKS) in dogs.

  • For the management of chronic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) and chronic superficial keratitis (CKS)
  • Reduce inflammation and redness
  • Improves eye lubrication and provides comfort.

How it Works:
When applied ophthalmically, cyclosporine is believed to act as a local immunomodulator of diseases suspected to be immune-mediated such as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) and chronic superficial keratitis (CSK).

What are the side effects:
Cight Eye Ointment (Cyclosporine) will not cause side effects in most dogs when used correctly. Stop using the medication and contact your veterinarian immediately if you observe any worrying symptoms such as deterioration of your dog's condition, crusting or discharge from the eye, vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction including severe skin rashes, swelling, or difficulty breathing. These conditions may require special adjustments to your dog's frequency of administration or immediate medical attention in severe cases.

  • To apply , gently pull open the eye being treated, apply a thin line of the medication along the lower edge of the eye, and allow your dog to blink to spread it over the entire surface.
  • Thoroughly wash your hands using soap and water after each application to prevent the medication from contacting your own mucous membranes.
  • Never allow the tip of the applicator to touch any foreign surfaces, including the eye itself, as this may cause contamination.
  • Cight eye ointment (Cyclosporine) is normally applied to the affected eye twice daily, but the best directions will be determined by your veterinarian based on your dog's current health, the condition being treated, and the severity of its symptoms.
